Meeting in Alanta

Last week of October Aukstaitijos school received cool guests from Bulgaria and Italy!
The Erasmus+ project “Food Ethics” team met for the final project event in Alanta, where they share their work and good practices🎊🫂🍲
Two trainings were held at the school – Italian Marco Carducci gave a practical lecture to future waiters and bartenders, and historian, lecturer, book author and historical cuisine expert Anželika Laužikienė have led a practical training “Interwar Desserts” to future chefs and confectioners from three countries.
Everyone whipped, spread, mixed and finally tasted a popular interwar dessert – birch branch. Colleagues from partner countries also learned the dessert, we hope they will spread the knowledge in their countries. 🎉
Event received participants from different schools, local food business and even farmers. Project team believes that a long term impact is something this event can be responsible to.
